Runs off a mark of 62 and showed a bit more last time out.
Has only raced here at Catterick once before when finishing a close second off a much higher weight and in a much better race. Handles the course and looks primed for a big run.
16:35 Catterick - RUX RUXX
Another horse with a solid course record who also hails from the Easterby yard is Rux Ruxx. Showed more when fourth at Wolverhampton last time. Is unbeaten in two runs here at Catterick and last won when David Allan took the ride who’s back onboard again here. 7/1 at the moment I can’t see that price being there come the off.
17:05 Catterick - BE BOLD
Would you believe it it’s another David Allan ridden horse! Be Bold is also a course winner here at Catterick who went close when second two starts back. Although he’s a bit of a veteran trainer Rebecca Bastiman is more than capable with these types and the soft ground should also play into his hands. As big as 18/1 in some places and although a speculative shout looks worth a punt.
15:50 Cork - BARON SAMEDI
Was well fancied when going off favourite at Tramore last time so clearly someone thought enough of him to be well backed. Since that run he’s been gelded and he’s made a very quick turn around since his last run. Went well at Gowran previously and looks a solid price at around 15/2 especially considering he’s trained by Joseph O’Brien.
