15:45 Wolverhampton
A trip to Wolverhampton for a race on the all-weather sees us try to decipher a Class 5, 7 furlong handicap.
With three former course and distance winners in the lineup there’s a few standout performers who will relish the conditions.
Trainer Mick Appleby has had a great season to date and sends five year old Ramblow back to the course she’s been successful at before. Just two pounds higher than her last winning mark after a few lesser efforts she should be primed for a big run.
The other course and distance victors Ubla and Mischief Managed have obvious chances but it’s maidens Real Estate and Global Spirit who I fear the most. Global Spirit returns to Wolverhampton where he put in one of his most encouraging efforts to date. A return to that sort of form will see him be up near the front come the finishing line but hopefully our selection will have enough to see off it’s rivals.
