Siding with a horse who hasn’t won in their last 18 starts isn’t normally the done thing but that’s what we’re going to do with Foxy Boy. Trainer Rebecca Bastiman has started to get her yard going well and has picked up a few wins in recent weeks. The booking of jockey Danny Tudhope catches the eye as the course and distance winning four year old looks primed for a good run off a low weight.

Fellow course and distance victor Compton River deserves an honourable mention and will surely be in the mix if back to his best.

Of the remainder top weight Highly Focussed also has a reasonable claim to success.
