A return to class 5 level as well as heading off to Musselburgh where he’s finished with a place and three wins from four runs here Gabrial The Tiger looks to bounce back. Trainer Richard Fahey has his horses in fine form of late and despite some disappointing recent efforts it’s hard to look past the six year old gelding.
Fellow course and distance winner Jacob Black is an obvious danger after grabbing back to back victories. The ultra consistent runner now has more weight to carry and a drop down to seven furlongs isn’t guaranteed to help so it has certain negatives to overcome if he wants to maintain his winning streak.
Of the rest Smugglers Creek and Donnelly’s Rainbow have claims but are likely to fill out the minor placings at best.
