The lady of the moment is the vastly talented Poppy Bridgewater. The exciting amateur has bagged seven winning rides from her last sixteen and is on-fire.

She’s set to take the ride on bottom weight and course and distance victor Caridade. A very encouraging 6th placed finish in a large field at York last time out showed a return to form and the lightly raced four year old could have more to offer in this less competitive affair.

The pretty consistent Equitant looks a lovely threat especially with 16 year old Oakley Brown in the saddle.

Of the rest both Firmdecisions and Racemaker are more than capable of claiming a race of this nature but wether or not the handicapper has them in their grasps may be their respective Achilles Heel.
