Just the nine runners set to tackle this 6 furlong race where a low draw is certainly advantageous.

There’s a few credible apprentice jockeys who still take weight off their horses backs but it’s very noticeable to see that top jockey Jamie Spencer sticks around for the ride on Kodicat. The four year old filly is yet to taste victory on the all-weather but as she now resides on her last winning mark and after a promising second placed finish two starts back she looks to have a decent chance.

Course and distance winners Indian Pursuit, Agueroo and Blessed To Impress look very viable alternatives to our selection but I hope the jockey booking is a promising sign and trainer Kevin Ryan can ensure the decent form of his yard continues.
