I know what you’re thinking. “What on earth are you doing tipping a horse in a race like this?” We agree entirely, with little to no recent victories between the entire fourteen runner field it looks far from an obvious choice. Never the less Don’t Do It (Let’s hope his name isn’t a warning sign) has certainly caught our eye. A very encouraging second placed effort when upped in trip at Wolverhampton should stand the four year old in good stead for a great crack at this race. He ran on at the finish and is probably crying out for another hike in distance and that’s exactly what he’s been given here. This trip looks to be an ideal fit, he’s not been given more weight for his recent effort and with a decent draw looks to go well tonight.
Both Top Rock Talula and Gorham’s Cave ran well recently and are bound to put up a fights.
At bigger prices course victor Red Cossack could go close, despite his advancing age, and top weight Croeso Cymraeg are horses that could be set to pounce at larger odds if the more fancied trio fail to deliver.
