Unfortunately there’s only seven runners so punters looking for an each-way bet are at a disadvantage with only the two places on offer. Nevertheless we’re hoping our selection will find her head in front come the winning post.

Despite never entering the winners enclosure in her six outings to date Rego Park Lady put in a very encouraging attempt when last seen. She finished third in a twenty runner race over in Ireland and as she travels over to the UK she aims to go two places better. At the age of three and with only a few miles on the clock she’s open to vast improvement and today may well be her day.

Course and distance winner Dark Defender poses an obvious threat but has been ultra inconsistent and is hard to catch right.

The biggest danger looks to be Areen Faisal who put in a better effort when dropping down to Class 4 company. Staying at that level another good showing is definitely on the cards.
