19:20 Thirsk
An evening meeting up in Yorkshire awaits as we head up to Thirsk where our best bet is set to lineup in the fifth race on the card.
Melaniemillie and Guardia Svizzera both put in much improved efforts last time and both see the addition of blinkers for the first time in their careers. Each have great chances and are likely competitors to our selection especially if the added head gear can squeeze out further improvement.
The aforementioned duo will go close however it’s four year old gelding Peachey Carnehan that gets the nod. A better run to finish fifth last time out shows he’s prepped for a big effort sooner rather than later. Now residing at nine pounds less than his last winning mark and returning to class 6 level should stand him in great stead. Softer ground should aid his chances and although this looks a highly competitive contest should have enough in his locker to get back to winning ways.
PEACHEY CARNEHAN (WIN) – NAP
