Although he only finished sixth it looked to be a much improved effort from Twentysvnthlancers here at Beverley last time out and he can go even closer here today. With less weight to carry now and a better draw this time around he’s sure to be in the firing line. What’s also interesting to note that of the horses fiver career turf victories he’s been ridden by Graham Lee on three of those occasions. It’s interesting to see Lee back in the saddle and that’s certain to aid his chances even further.

Stablemate One Boy looks a huge danger and I’m hoping that Lee opting to climb on top of the other is a telling sign but it wouldn’t be a surprise to see Midgley’s other runner finish in the money.

Atyaaf, Pearl Noir and Mr Greenlight look to be best of the rest and have enough in their lockers to grab place money.
