RACE PREVIEW & TIPS (THURSDAY)

The final race of the evening way in the North East at Newcastle is the setting for our NAP as former course and distance winner Breathoffreshair looks to add another win at this venue to his tally. Able to rack up a trio of consecutive wins this time last year he returns to his preferred trip on a very appealing handicap mark. With less weight to carry, a preferable distance and from a yard who’s bagged a few recent winners Breathoffreshair looks to have plenty of boxes ticked that could lead to another trip to Newcastle’s winners enclosure.

Viking Way showed much improvement to finish second last time and despite still being a maiden it looks like the three year olds time isn’t far away.

Trainer Brian Ellison loves a win here at Newcastle and his charge Skyva looks to have a great chance and looks a major danger.

Of the remainder fellow course and distance winner Highly Focused has a chance based on course form but sadly the handicapper looks to have him in his grasps.
