Presumably pulled out of the St Leger in favour of this you suspect he will go better today and the forecast rain ought to further enhance his chances. Sheikhzayedroad has plenty of form in a higher grades and arrives here on the back of a decent third in the Doncaster Cup last time, he may prove too good for these though he is likely to be short enough considering he hasn’t won for almost two years. Ben Vrackie is unexposed and could bounce back from a disappointing flop the last day, however, his stable companion, Sevenna Star has always left the impression he would be a much better horse at this kind of trip and it is he who is handed the vote.
