Rory pinpoints four horses that look markedly overpriced.
14:10 Hamilton - JEWEL MAKER (E/W)
It might be an odd call to side with a horse who's yet to taste success on British soil but having placed three times at the end of 2019 he's shown he has enough in his locker to go close. Should appreciate any additional rain but a return to Class 5 company, sticking to five furlongs and racing off a very attractive handicap mark gives him a very credible chance. With his trainer also bagging twelve recent winners he hails from an in-form yard and shouldn't be far away.
15:40 Hamilton - GULF OF POETS (E/W)
He may not have won in his last fourteen starts but there's some telling factors that still point to a bold run. The eight year old finally returns to this grade after competing in much better races. He's unbeaten over course and distance and has 3lbs less weight to carry than when last successful.
17:50 Hamilton - CHINESE SPIRIT (E/W)
Potentially a very crazy selection to go for the current rank outsider of the field but trainer Linda Perratt loves to bag a winner here at Hamilton and this former course and distance victor who carries less weight here looks vastly overpriced. It's also worth noting that Chinese Spirit is unbeaten at this course in this grade.
16:25 Bath - MR TYRRELL (E/W)
Finished third here two starts back behind horses that re-oppose again today but Richard Hannon's charge now finds himself with a more favourable weight to carry. A former course and distance winner who comes from a stable who've done well of late. Hard to ignore and looks a generous price considering there's been three withdrawn.
