Harry Whittington has his yard in good form at present and is represented here by, Affaire D’Honneur, who makes his chasing debut. Fairly decent over hurdles his breeding suggests he will make an even better chaser and given he won on his comeback from a similar break last term, hopes must be high of a decent run. Vercingetorix is an admirably consistent type who always seems to run his race, a winner over hurdles and on the flat this calendar year almost entitles him to the healthiest respect though he hasn’t overly convinced over fences so far. Running Heels ran well here a few weeks ago and has an appealing weight to race off, the vote however is handed to Affaire D’Honneur who looks to have been found a great chance on his return.
