14:15 Sandown
Other than her first run where she lost by just a short head at Haydock. Walk In Marrakesh is yet to put a step wrong. She’s looking more and more the part on each outing, increasing her winning margin to five lengths in Ayr last week. A penalty could do nothing to hold her back from progressing. Today she gets the company of Frankie Dettori who is riding remarkably well in all conditions at the moment, it’s his first time on board but it looks to be a match made in heaven in what could be her third win on the bounce.
It’s hard to envisage Walk In Marrakesh meeting her match today but if there is filly in the race that could give her a run for your money then that has to be the once ran Appleby horse Light Blush. One thing she certainly was not, was light on the Appleby filly buying kitty, setting him back nearly 500,000gns. Unsurprisingly she made a striking impression on her debut when she went off as favourite and just bested her rivals that day. Theres no doubt the yard expect improvement from her but she runs into a smart sort in Walk In Marrakesh today and the price will likely be gobbled up by punters before the off if the Frankie effect kicks in. Take the price whilst you can and lets hope she can get the job done.
