Disappointing the last twice he comes with clear risks attached but his like for it around here and his likely decent odds offer hope. Lopes Dancer is another who likes it here and another who merits attention, up five pounds for a recent gritty success here, he looks a likely player. Chancery is now on a very tempting mark but he continues to disappoint though the likes of Eldritch, Maghfoor and Globetrotter want respecting. AIRTON (E/W)

19:15 Newcastle Mabo has been a bitter disappointment since showing clear signs of promise on debut though he ran well enough last time to be considered and it has to be taken as a positive that Fahey has persisted with him. W G Grace won on his only outing on the artificial surfaces to date and this represents a much easier task than he’s been facing of late, from the yard of Mark Johnston you cant help but respect his chances although conceding weight all round could be tricky. Just For Fun is another from the Fahey stable and another with clear claims back down in class, all things considered however Mabo gets the verdict having threatened the last day. MABO (WIN) – NAP
