RACE PREVIEW & TIPS (THURSDAY)

13:10 Leicester

The dream team of Coleman and Murphy can’t seem to do much wrong at the moment with an amazing 31% strike rate when this jockey and trainer team up. They come together at Leicester today with eight year old American Tom. An Irish import from the top yard of Willie Mullins he’s changed hands to join the yard of Olly Murphy and a lot is expected of this new recruit. He hails from a yard in blistering form and with a jockey who is having one of the best seasons of his career so far. All the positives point towards a big run in a race that, although competitive, looks very feasible for him to claim success.

Top weight Kingston has had a great campaign to date with three wins from his last six outings but looked lacklustre in his last two runs and is more than likely open to younger and fresher legs.

The father and son team of Peter and Sean Bowen look to have a very lively chance with Jeannot De Nonant dropping back down to Class 4 company after a campaign against much better opposition. If the seven year old gelding can reproduce the form he showed that saw him finish mid division in last years Coral Cup he’s likely to make it a match race with our selection.
