We take a trip over the Irish sea to take in a very competitive 12 furlong handicap.

With just three victories from 78 former runs for the fifteen horses that are set to lineup it’s safe to say this is far from a top class affair however digging through the form books and it seems that Rise Again could be the one to be on. Without a victory since claiming her maiden success she’s been far from spectacular but her most recent effort saw her finish a very credible 4th of 14. A change of trainer, a drop in class and a drop in weight should all be beneficial to this four year old and looking through the opposition she wouldn’t have to be much to claim a race of this nature.

New Vocation showed some promise when finishing 3rd a few starts back so a return to that sort of run should put her in the frame and top-weight Acclamatio represents top connections so also deserves a watching brief.
