18:15 Newcastle With two evening all weather meetings tonight we opt to head to the North East for a seven furlong handicap where course and distance winner Deansgate gets our vote. Trainer Julie Camacho has her horses running very well of late as two thirds of her runners in the past fortnight have claimed success. A reasonable 4th placed effort at this venue should stand the six year old in good stead for another bold showing and with the addition of blinkers potentially producing further improvement Paul Mulrennan’s mount is likely to do well. Fellow course and distance victor Athollblair Boy is ultra consistent and is likely to be there once again.
