With only the five runners declared I’m hoping it makes the final race at Chepstow an easier puzzle to decipher.
With champion jockey in-waiting Silvestre De Sousa hanging around South Wales for the final contest it’s worth noting his mount Reveleon. A winner last time out he takes a step up in both weight and class but that should put punters off. Turning into quite a consistent performer on turf Mick Appleby seems to have found him an easy enough test here.
The unknown quantity is the lightly raced Dorella who poses an obvious chance, as does Starcaster who looks to build upon pretty encouraging recent runs. That being said however the bottom weight looks the one to be with especially with De Sousa in the saddle.
