Paul Nicholls has an exceptional record at Wincanton, winning with 40% of his hurdlers in the last three years, and looks to have a great chance of another victory here with exciting prospect Miranda. The four-year-old filly is two from two since joining the Ditcheat trainer, winning well at Ludlow on debut before an extremely impressive course and distance victory at the beginning of the month where she beat a decent field without coming off the bridle. A similar performance today would make her tough to beat.

Not So Sleepy stepped up on hurdles debut with a course and distance victory last time out and is entitled to continue improving, although both stable and jockey arrive here struggling for winners so the bigger danger could be Kimberley Point whose hurdles form reads 2112 and races for Alan King and Wayne Hutchinson who are both in fine form.
