Trainer Scott Dixon is based in the north midlands so a keen eye for any of his runners at either Nottingham or Southwell and he saddles two here in the last. With the addition of top all weather jockey Luke Morris in the saddle Coiste Bodhar should have a great chance. A former course and distance winner who carries a very low weight and after a decent effort last time looks primed for a bug run. The only other course and distance winners in the field Very First Blade and Archie Stevens both have credible chances but of the two it’s actually the lesser fancied bottom weight that could spring a surprise. Of the rest Racing Angel was well backed in his last outing and could well be in the mix.
