15:45 Southwell
Bond Angel, Majestic Moon and Muqarred occupied the first three places when they last met over course and distance earlier in the month and look the main challengers again for todays’ race. Bond Angel stayed on best to win by three lengths on that occasion but has been given a 5lbs rise, whereas both Majestic Moon and Muqarred have been dropped 1lbs, so despite his superiority last time out it should be much closer today.
Majestic Moon has been performing consistently well but has only won once from eighteen on the all-weather and was behind Muqarred on penultimate run so with the booking of 3lbs claimer Jamie Gormley for the ride, Muqarred looks to have a great chance of turning the tables on both the above-mentioned rivals. A four-time course and distance winner who has won in in higher classes and off higher marks in the past, he can take advantage and get back to the winners’ enclosure today.

When it comes to Windsor I have a soft spot for Godolphin runners as they tend to do well at this course.
The illustrious blue silks will be adorned by two jockeys as Saeed bin Suroor saddles both Global Heat and Najib. Both have great chances but after 2nd and 3rd placed efforts Global Heat has certainly shown more.
With all the big stables represented this maiden looks very “tasty” and expect a fair few long term winners to come out of this one.
Sinjaari for William Haggas and Will Of Iron for John Gosden look the most likely competition but you could easily make a case for half the field but never the less it’s the jockey Jason Watson who I favour to end up in the winners enclosure aboard Global Heat.
