RACE PREVIEW & TIPS (MONDAY)

The Young Master hasn’t won since April 2016 but showed signs that he could be returning to form with a solid third at Kempton last month and is partnered with in-form jockey Noel Fehily for today’s race. He has been racing in higher grades than today but won the only time he has raced in a class 3, is two wins from two over this trip and is now 9lbs below his last winning mark so looks to have a lot in his favour.

Sue Smith has had a few winners in recent weeks and her runner Smooth Stepper is two from three over course and distance so looks the biggest danger, while Baywing was only a couple of lengths behind the winner when last seen and has been dropped 2lbs for that effort so is also respected, especially as he is two from three over this trip.
