Musicka put in a great run last time out, getting within a neck of a well-supported favourite and was over two lengths clear of third. A previous winner over course and distance having won this race last year, he is also re-united with Danny Tudhope who was in the saddle for both previous career victories and looks primed for another victory here today.

Big Les returned from his winter break with a victory at Hamilton last month, taking his turf record to thwo wins and a third from four runs. He has gone up 6lbs but looks to be progressing well and rates as the main danger, although Athollblair Boy has been in excellent from on the all-weather and could also get involved if proving as effective now switched back to turf.
