Woodland Opera arrives here having won three of his last four and as a prior course and distance winner over hurdles, he warrants respect. That said, he has been racing over much further than todays’ trip and his stable have been very quiet in the last few weeks.

Cadmium beat the re-opposing Tycoon Prince by over thirty lengths when winning a Grade 3 at Naas last month and has three wins from five over todays’ trip. Recent wins have come on fast ground but he has won on both yielding and soft earlier in his career so should have no issues with conditions.

Darasso has to enter calculations on the back of a convincing victory in a Grade 3 over hurdles last month. Twice a winner over fences in France before joining Joseph O’Brien, he has done all his winning in testing conditions and gets 5lbs from the above-mentioned two which could be enough to swing things in his favour.
