The lightly raced Aspetar rather blotted his copybook when flopping in a Group2 at Chantilly in June and has been off the track ever since. Impressive when heavily backed on debut and then when winning a good looking race at Goodwood the time after there is every chance he will bounce back here, though you would prefer to see him strong in the betting markets. Dubai Horizons arrives here in search of the hat-trick and is proven over this track and trip, his ability to handle slower ground is another positive and his trainer has taken four of the last eight renewals of this. Gabrial, Morando and Air Pilot are others with claims, however, Aspetar could turn out to be better than these in time and he is handed the vote.
