Canford Heights was well backed on his all weather debut at Wolverhampton last time and he duly delivered the odds, winning by an impressive eight lengths. Only lightly raced you suspect he has plenty of improvement in him though todays ground is vastly different from anything he has raced on and this represents a fair jump in class. Elegiac was beaten just a neck at Yarmouth last time and the ground will hold no fears for him, tough and consistent he looks a big player under top weight. Morning Wonder wasn’t beaten far at Chester last time, the form of that race has since worked out well and he has previously won on ground with ease in it. Rayna’s World probably couldn’t have it soft enough and is another to consider though the vote is handed to Morning Wonder who is bred to be suited by this trip and who will be as fresh as any.
