Consistent of late he looked in need of a stiffer test when third over a quarter of a mile shorter last time and given the opposition he faces today it would be disappointing if he failed to mount a serious challenge. Bamako Du Chatelet scored for the fourth time in nine attempts over course and distance two starts back and followed that effort with a decent second at Wolverhampton last time, the form of that latest effort has since been given a boost and his chance is clear despite the penalty.
