Classic Seniority has a fine record in this and landed the 2016 running before finishing a fine third in last season’s renewal. Well beaten in four runs to date this term it would appear the Majorie Fife trained six year old has a little to prove at present, however, the handicapper has cut him some slack and off a mark three pounds lower than his last winning one, he is taken to bounce back and return to winning ways.

Magic City beat of few of these when winning an amateur race here last time, todays six pounds penalty for that poses a serious question of him though he looks a worthy favourite and is afforded respect.

Donncha continues to drop down the weights and is another to consider and though last years winner, Be Kool has 10lbs more to carry this time around it is possible he could go well at a price.
