RACE PREVIEW & TIPS (FRIDAY)

20:00 DUNDALK

The final race on the card this evening sees fourteen runners set to line up for a ten furlong handicap.

There’s six course winners but our allegiance belongs to a three year old runner who’s yet to claim victory. Taste The Salt is a maiden but put in a good display when finishing third here last time. Trained by noted trainer Joseph O’Brien and ridden by top jockey Wayne Lordan he may have a slightly disadvantageous draw but at the age of three he could improve further.

Likely contenders seem to be War Room, Trump Card and Carvelas but the biggest threat looks to be Jessamine. A former course and distance winner who hasn’t finished outside of the first three in her last three starts here at Dundalk.
