RACE PREVIEW & TIPS (FRIDAY)

15:30 SOUTHWELL

The age of ten is very much the twilight of a race horses career and the majority never see a race course at such an age but we find ourselves with three ten year olds entered into the final race of the card at Southwell.

For all of us that know racing know that Luke Morris is one of, if not thee, master jockey on the all-weather. The fact he climbs aboard ten year old course and distance winner The Lock Master is worth noting and although he will undoubtedly be declining with his advancing years The Lock Master drops down in to class six company and has a very low weight to carry.

Fellow course and distance victor and fellow ten year old Masterful Act also holds an outside chance.

The biggest threat seems to be Ingleby Spring who travels down from the noted yard of Richard Fahey. A very consistent performer who put in two good performances on the artificial surface and is set to do well once again.
