Seeking Perfection goes of market favourite at the time of writing and although the addition of cheekpieces has somewhat brought a bit of a revival in her form.
I'm still not convinced that and along with creeping up the weights with her placed finishes will see her win today and is too short to be confident with her getting into the winner enclosure even though she is dropping into a class 6 handicap for the first time.
Youllovemewheniwin looks again to me as if he needs to come down in his mark and also the shorter trip of 5 furlongs seems to suit him better. Nagaski Dream is well handicapped but is 0 from 12 runs so hard to be overly confident.
My selection is the only course and distance winner In this race and that is Split Evens. Upped in trip last time out at Epsom and you could argue Epsom is not every horse cup of tea and maybe didn't see out the trip. So maybe draw a line under that race.
Back at Wolverhampton where he has won before at the distance. and is creeping down in the weights to a handy mark. Interesting that Tom Marquand has been booked to ride Split Elevens who he has never ridden before and is currently riding at a 23% strike rate and trainer John Butler is in pretty decent form operating at a 17% strike rate in there last 14 days. I just feel Split Elevens holds more value at a more attractive each way price.
