POWER SET TO EVADE EPSOM OPPOSITION

Evasive Power catches the eye in this six furlong event.

It’s easy to forgive his slightly below par effort at Kempton last time, after a slow start and a bump put paid to his chances.

There’s no doubt he’s handicapped up to the hilt, but he is a course and distance winner and the reapplication of the cheek pieces might just do the trick.

Spring Bloom is super consistent but struggles to get his head in front. He sports cheek pieces for the first time suggesting a little more concentration in a finish may be required.

Recon Mission also has a chance as a course and distance winner, but for me is better over five.
