PARK TO POUNCE AT PONTE

James Park Woods ran a good race last time first up after a wind op on seasonal reappearance. Looked like he'd come on plenty for that run. Form of that run has been boosted. Had an inexperienced jockey on that day and he appeared to go easy on him in order to just open the pipes. Richard Kingscote takes over today. Goes back up to a mile, he lost by a head over this trip on soft ground here last season. That was off 1lbs higher. Gets stall 3 today and there looks a real lack of pace in the race when a few of these prefer a strong pace to aim at. For instance Irv's 2 wins have come when he's been held up and they've gone off quickly infront. Ugo Gregory appears to do best later in the season. Curfewed has raced 15 times on the flat and is yet to win on the surface and has only placed 3 times on turf. My selection should be able to start well and get a good prominent sit and possibly an unchallenged lead. Trainer is 1-2 at this track.
