We start our day’s previews with three year old plus handicap hurdle. Camptown Lady is a lightly finished a respectable second last time out where she seemed to be jumping well throughout the race but was just out paced in the final furlong, the winner that day has gone on to win another three times so her second looks very promising but a four pound rise may see her just beaten again today.
The danger and my selection is Miss Lucky Penny; she is a lightly raced eight year old and has shown some glimpses of form earlier in the year where she finished second twice to some very good horses she looks to be on a winning mark here and she will appreciate the cut in the ground.
Second Brook hasn’t been seen since November 2011 and it may be worth noting if the money comes in for him in the market.

We stay at Huntington for our second preview a handicap chase. This looks to be a two horse race between My Wigwam Or Yours and Ned Stark. The latter looked a different class when seen over this distance earlier in the year and takes to handicap company for the first time today; he wasn’t very convincing in his jumping but he makes up for that with his speed across the ground. The former was unlucky when sent of a favourite last time where he seemed to misjudge the final hurdle; he can run off the mark again today and this looks a lot easier than his previous race.
A couple of others come here with some good form but all look to be too high in the weights now off their latest wins.

We end the day with two mile handicap chase. Gary Moore won this race last year and brings Vikekhal here to try and win this race again; he finished a strong second last month and was jumping well throughout the race he should relish coming back down to this distance and the cut in the ground won’t be an issue.
The main danger looks to come from Morgan’s Bay he is another who finds this a distance that suits and showed an incredible turn of foot when pushing to the front in the final furlong to win his last race, he has a three pound penalty to carry today and should run his race again but I don’t think he will be able to cope with Vikekhal in the final stages of this race.
Vikekhal (WIN)
