We start our day’s previews with a six furlong nursery. Anastazia was chasing a hat-trick three weeks ago and wasn’t disgraced when stepping up to class 2 company; she can race off that same mark again here today and the drop back to this company may suit and she should go close.
The biggest danger and my selection is previous course and distance winner Classic Seniority; he has been progressing well all season and is another who looked to be upped in class a little too early; he should benefit from his riders seven pound claim and dropping back to this level and distance should be what he needs to claim his third career win.
Mo Henry may be one to note if money comes for him in the market, he won over five furlongs at Wolves last time out and is progressing with every run but he has no previous form on this surface and is probably best watched.

Our second race we preview is a twelve furlong handicap. The Blue Dog was in good form at the beginning of the year with a comfortable course and distance win, she has seemed to have lost her way and may still be a little high in the weights for now but may of needed her last two runs to get race fit again and with such a moderate field here today she should have good each way claims.
Zinnobar is flying up the weights at a rate of knots without winning but has made his presence felt in his last six races; he’s scored twice over course and distance in the past and should be in the mix here again today but may come up short.
Incendo is another that’s worth a second look at as he does have previous wins over this distance and holds his own on this surface; he has been given a real chance by the handicapper as he is currently thirteen pounds lower then he was when last winning at this track. He’s since gone on to win a couple of times on the turf and if he can bring that form here today he could be the surprise package and is my selection.

We end the day with the final race at Lingfield. Sabre Rock finally came good winning over course and distance last month and is only a pound higher for this today but his inconsistency is a real issue and it may be worth looking elsewhere.
Rock Charm and Rezwaan were both beaten favourites last time out. The latter has been nowhere near the form he showed early last year and will probably disappoint again today. The former and my selection was unlucky not to catch the winner on his previous run; he was flying home in the final furlong and this extra furlong today should be what is needed for him to notch up his first win.
Litmus is one that can’t be ignored; he has won over course and distance early this year and has also placed several times this season; he looks a good price for E/W money but I don’t see him having the beating of my selection.
Rock Charm (WIN)
