PADDOCKS PATENT (TUESDAY)

15:15 Hamilton Park

We start our day’s previews with a wide open affair over twelve furlongs.

Graham Lee won this card twelve months ago and has a very strong case to go in again on More Mischief; she impressed when making her handicap debut last month and even though she only finished second that day she seemed to have more to give so this longer trip looks to suit.

The trainer Jim Goldie also won this race last year with Graham Lee and looks to have a real danger to More Mischief with Latin Rebel; he seems to love it around here and having placed six out of eight runs and winning once last time out but that was in lesser company than this today but most be respected.

Kerrymerry was seeking a hat-trick last time out but was just beaten by a heck on that occasion; he looks that he has more to give even from this high mark and is another who is in with a shout.

Stanarley Pic is three pounds higher from his win over course and distance back in September and the return  back to this level could see him back in the mix once again and has strong E/W chances for this today.

More Mischief (WIN)

16:15 Hamilton Park

We stay at Hamilton Park for our second preview a Class four handicap over six furlongs. Stonefield Flyer looks an early favourite  after missing out on a quick fire double over course and distance five days ago; he can run off that same mark again today but it did seem the undoing of him last time out and may once again prove so.

Cloak And Degas has been running well as of late but seems to find at least one too good; he probably ran has best race to date at Leicester last time out and if he continues to progress in that way he could go close here.

Fast Finian returns after an eleven month layoff from the track but did win over course and distance back in July off a four pound higher mark and if able to strip fit for this today he could be in the mix again.

Danot can never be ruled out when he’s put in a race like this as he’s done well in nurseries in the past and can easily cause an upset if in the mood.

Cloak And Degas  (E/W if 9/2+)

20:00 Stratford

We head to Stratford for our final preview a nineteen furlong handicap chase.

Noble Friend has been raised seven pounds for his latest win at Fontwell three weeks ago where he had Marie Des Anges six lengths behind; he should still be able to repeat that form with the latter once again but may find others not so easy.

Lucky Landing  is only four pounds higher from his win at Aintree last month where he beat what looked a very competitive field; he should relish the step back up in trip after finding fifteen furlongs too short last time and looks the one to beat.

Porters War isn’t getting any younger but is dismissed at your peril; he never seems to run a bad race and tends to still make his presence  felt but this looks tougher than his previous few races and may struggle.

It’s hard to fancy any of the others in this race and is probably  worth sticking with Lucky Landing after his win at Aintree around this distance.

Lucky Landing  (WIN)
