15:45 Musselburgh
We start our day’s previews with a twelve furlong handicap.
Applejack Lad has been knocking on the door as of late so it’s a surprise to see him step up in trip after finishing second twice over ten furlongs especially as he has a penalty to negotiate with also.
Spokesperson is another Stepping up in trip after finishing in a dead heat at Ayr last time out but he looked like the extra distance would suit and could be a real threat.
Ronald Gee has been very inconsistent in the past twelve months but did finish second over course and distance back in May and has to respected on the back of that form.
Silver Shuffle looks to me a bit overpriced due to the rain that is expected here today; he’s been hurdling with some success recently and today’s mark looks extremely low especially with his jockey’s five pound claim added and may be one to take a chance on.

16:15 Musselburgh
We stay at Musselburgh for our second preview a five furlong handicap.
Shipyard races here for Michael Appleby for the first time since joining his yard from Ireland last month; he’s produced two good finishes on his last two outings and should be able to repeat that form again today but others are easier to fancy.
Rothesay Chancer and Bunce have battled it out on a couple of times in the past with both recording a win over course and distance but the latter has been more successful overall when these two have met and that form looks that it’ll will be repeated again here today.
One Boy is another course and distance winner and looked poised to come late on his latest outing but he was impeded late on which cost him a lot of places so dismissing that race puts him in the mix again today.

16:30 Ffos Las
We end our day’s previews with a six furlong handicap at Ffos Las.
Agerzam smashed the field on his latest outing winning by over three lengths; he’s been raised six pounds off the back of that win but his jockey’s claim takes off most of that and if he repeats that form again he’ll be very hard to catch.
Archie Stevens finished third to Agerzam last time out and will have to find something more if he wants to get any closer to him today.
Mad Endeavour looks the biggest threat as he’s placed twice coming back to the turf after a good win on the all-weather before that; he is another who should benifit from his jockey’s claim and could give the favourite a close ride.
Lucy The Painter should relish the drop back in trip as she only seem to dwindle in the final furlong last time out; she finished second over this trip off this mark back in May and has obvious each way claims for this.
Agerzam (WIN)
