PADDOCKS PATENT (TUESDAY)

17:00 Chepstow

We start our day’s previews with a one mile apprentice training series handicap.

Bountybeamadam is the only course and distance winner in the field which came around thus time last year; she’s been out of sorts since then but she is now fourteen pounds lower for this today then her win last year and could take all the beating if getting her head back in the game.

Dolphin Rock has been raised three pounds for his win at Ayr last month and the track looks to suit again as he enjoys a bit of cut in the ground and with the ground being heavy to soft at present he’ll appreciate that more than most.

Master Clockmaker finished second over this trip last month and has only the slightest of penalty to negotiate so has ever chance 8 making the frame one again.

Edge is quite a versatile horse and seems to cope with a variety of different conditions and is another to note if being able to compete in handicap company.

17:15 Brighton

We head to the south east for our second preview a six furlong handicap.

French Pass was coming back from a long absence when finishing second at Wolverhampton four days ago and with the quick turn around has escape any penalties so should have every chance of going in again today.

Harry Bosch  is another that should be starting to come back to form having dropped down the weights and is now back down to a winning mark, he held on gamely to win at Bath back in June and if repeating that form again today could have place claims.

Medicean  Melody won over course and distance back in June but totally blew the start on her latest outing which obviously didn’t show her true ability and u believe if she gets the start right today she’ll be the one to beat.

19:10 Newbury

Our final preview of the day is a seven furlong fillies handicap.

To me this looks the best race of the day with a few of these in with a chance.

Miss Inga Sock has been knocking on the door as of late but seems to find at least one too good, she’s slowly going up the weights though but has a little help today with her jockey’s claim and should be there again today.

Italian Beauty was seeking a hat-trick last time out but found the hike in the weights a little too much and had been kept on that mark for this; she still has a very strong case to go in again but only if the ground doesn’t get any worse.

Rosa’s Cantina is getting better and better with every race and looks to of been given a lenient mark on her handicap debut; she also has De Sousa on board and with the way his season is going he could be the one to give her a winning start in handicap company.

The top weight Quite Smart is another worth considering as she is coming down the weights at a rate of knots and could be a real contender dropping back to this company.
