We start our day’s previews with a Class three conditions Stakes over a mile.
Comicas is an early favourite but whether he turns up for this is another matter as he’s also been entered in the Stonehenge Stakes at Salisbury on Friday, which in all fairness is probably a better race to develop this two year old and see what potential he has for the future but if he does turn up he will be the one to beat.
Fleeting Visit was eased down two weeks ago at Chepstow over this trip and even though that was in a much lower grade he could be a real danger if running the way he did today.
Rasheeq has turned out to be a all-weather specialists so far so his first try on the turf will be an interesting one if taking to the ground; he’s also upped in grade here and is another to note.
My selection though has to go to the top weight Mark Johnston horse Champagne City; he produced two quality runs before being sent to a Group Two race at Newmarket last month where he was clearly out of his depth but the return to this grade should suit him to win his third race to date especially if Comicas doesn’t turn up.

We head to the polytrack for our second preview a six furlong handicap.
Encapsulated destroyed the field at Lingfield eleven day’s ago over this trip where he had Risky Rizkova two lengths behind but the latter is now weighted to reverse that form and if he stays on as well as he did this time around he does have the potential to do so.
Tidal’s baby hasn’t won for two years and even though he’s slowly coming down the weights he still shows no signs of winning anytime soon.
Kaabar usually does his running at Wolverhampton and showed some glimmer of hope when finishing third last time out; he stays on the same mark and if taking to this surface today he has real place claims.
Etaad would of been my selection for this but he’s already be declared as a non runner so my selection is Nasri; he’s another who hasn’t won in a very long time but he drops down to this low grade for the very first time and even though he maybe one of the eldest in the race he has every chance at this level to get his head back in front.

19:10 Leicester
We go back to the turf for our final preview a one mile handicap.
American Artist and Advance both come here seeking a hat-trick with the former more likely the one who’ll achieve this; he’s been progressing well recently and showed this when winning at Windsor last time out but his penalties could finally be catching up with him. The latter steps up to this level for his hat-trick bid and can’t be dismissed.
Kapstadt was a good sprinter back in 2012 but was then sent off over the jumps where he did equally as good so it was a surprise to see him at Galway two weeks ago back over this trip; his position doesn’t quite tell the story of how well he ran in that race as if he wasn’t boxed in he looked a possible danger and is worth a few quid E/W here today.
Silverheels though just gets my vote; he’s finished second on both his last two runs on the turf from this mark and with Cam Hardie also helping him with a three pound claim if could just be what he needs to take this.
