Dicosimo is one of Willie Mullins potential stars of the future and is difficult to oppose in the opener here at Fairyhouse. He was a seven length winner on soft to heavy ground at Gowran Park in January over todays’ trip and ran a credible race to finish eighth in the Triumph Hurdle at Cheltenham last month.

Prussian Eagle finished second behind Dicosimo at Gowran Park and again looks to be the main danger. He beat the re-opposing Buiseness Sivola in November and finished third behind Petite Parisienne and Kaliker when last seen at Leopardstown in February

Both Sam Red and Whiteout arrive here on the back of solid wins over todays’ trip. Whiteout finished ahead of Sam Red at Gowran Park in January on soft ground but Sam Red then went on to win by twenty six lengths at Navan last month on soft to heavy ground. Both appear to have to potential to progress further but are more likely to be fighting it out for minor honours here today.

Skinny Love arrives here on the back of two wins and a second in recent months, beating a number of subsequent winners in the process. She has also posted a couple of placed efforts on turf previously and in her current form looks a good each way bet at forecasted prices.

Lucky Lodge is another who arrives in top form after notching up a hat-trick between October and January and just missed out on making it four in a row when going down by a short head to My Son Max at Wolves last month. He has three wins on turf so is feared most, although has been raised 2lbs for that short head defeat and is yet to win off todays mark.

Of the remainder, Debit has a 66% place strike rate on turf and could benefit from jockey Silvestre De Souza taking over in the saddle, while Tiger Twenty Two is eased in grade and could take advantage today.

Just seven go to post for the finale at Fairyhouse but all of the first four in the market hold solid claims. Space Cadet finished second to the much-hyped Pylonthepressure at Naas in February and was a six length winner at Leopardstown on Boxing Day before that.

Anibale Fly was a 25/1 second on his racecourse debut here at Fairyhouse then followed up with a convincing victory at Naas, although arguably takes on better opponents here today.

Ice Cold Soul arrives here looking to complete a hat-trick of wins, beating two previous winners in the process. He beat Mall Dini by over four lengths last time out, a horse that has gone on to win since, so the form holds up well and he is feared most, although preference is for Au Quart De Tour.

Au Quart De Tour was a convincing winner over course and distance in January and although could not follow this up in the Champion Bumper at Cheltenham last month there were stories about him being sick prior to the festival so perhaps wasn’t seen at his best. Back down in grade today, he should take all the beating if back to his best.
