This class four handicap looks like a match between the two likely market leaders Taghreeb and Ellaal.
Ellaal runs off the same mark as last week when just touched off by a nose and it would be no surprise to see him challenging here again if arriving in the same mood. He has the benefit of experience over the aforementioned Taghreeb but has only managed two wins in eighteen attempts over a mile and was well beaten in his last two runs prior to his second last week.
Taghreeb showed a good attitude and great determination to win a maiden at Salisbury in August last year and should be open to further improvement on only his second run. He made up a fair bit of ground to get up on the line so the extra furlong shouldn’t be a problem here and providing he is fully fit for his seasonal re-appearance then he could prove difficult to beat.
Taghreeb (WIN)

A tricky looking fourteen runner handicap is where we find our second selection of the day.
Regards is yet to win in three attempts but has been improving for each run on the all-weather and has to be respected with Charlie Appleby’s horses achieving an almost 40% win rate in the last month. This will be his turf debut but his breeding suggests he will be more suited to turf rather than synthetic surfaces.
Lears Rock won at Lingfield in February over todays’ trip and had two solid second placed finishes on turf in September so has to be seen at the main danger to Regards.
Asima won on her last run over todays’ trip (at Lingfield in January) and ran on well to finish just over a length behind in fourth when upped in trip last time out. The booking of jockey Ryan Moore suggests a decent run can be expected, although she has attempted this trip on turf twice before but could only finish in mid-division both times.
Regards (E/W if 5/1 +)

Catchin Time arrives here looking to complete a four-timer and has a 100% win record for 2015. He has been raised a further 6lbs but won a lot easier than the one and a half lengths winning margin suggests last time out, being heavily eased on the run to the line. Although these wins came on soft/heavy ground, he has ran well previously on good ground too so should be able to continue his winning run here.
Ballyvoque recorded his only career win over course and distance and but been tried over varying distances since that win so it isn’t easy to assess his overall form. He returns to eighteen furlongs for the first time since that win today and could prove to be the biggest danger to our selection.
Of the remainder, Quick brew has been performing consistently without managing to get his nose in front and Politeness has won two out of his last three and both are respected.
Catchin Time (WIN)
