Vincenzo Coccotti has won once and placed three times in his last five races and has been eased 1lb for finishing third of six last time out. Although his only career win so far came over seven furlongs his recent form appears the most consistent and he meets a number of opponents who have also yet to prove themselves over todays’ trip.
Cloud Seven looks likely to head the market despite not being seen since December 2014. He finished second over course and distance when last seen, three lengths behind the winner. He could well improve for that run but showed little in his two previous runs so could not be backed with much confidence.
The most likely danger to our selection could be Cape Cay. The three year old filly is yet to win on the all-weather but has placed on all three runs including one here over todays’ trip. She finished six lengths back in second on that occasion but the winner went on to win again and she runs off the same mark here.

Squire looks to be the early favourite here and arrives in good form having won last time out, on turf at Windsor over todays’ trip. However he has ran on an all-weather surface on five occasions and has only managed to place once, some nine lengths behind in second.
Voyageofdiscovery is another who is proven on turf over todays’ race distance but is yet to register a win on the all-weather. His last two runs have been here at Kempton and he has finished within two lengths of the winner on both occasions. Running off the same mark again today, he looks likely to be in the mix, however a chance is taken on Tizlove Regardless.
Our selection has a 28% win rate on the all-weather including wins here at Kempton and over a mile. He disappointed last time out but that was over ten furlongs at Chelmsford and posted a win and a close second at Wolves prior. He should be more suited returning to todays’ trip and looks too big a price at current odds of around 10/1.

We have to wait until the final race of the day for our third selection but it will hopefully be worth the wait. Our selection is Yorkshireman who has now finished in the first three places in every one of his last eight races, including two wins over course and distance. His record should make him a great bet in the ‘to place’ market but he is taken to go even better than that and end our day with a win.
Chloes Image looks to be the early market leader and is of interest arriving on the back of a win here just last week, however she takes a big step back up in trip today and has a 6lbs penalty to carry. Her last couple of attempts of longer distances have been less than inspiring and the biggest danger to our selection looks to be Ballyfarsoon who is only 3lbs higher than his last winning mark but does have a 33% win rate here at Wolves including a win over todays’ race distance.
