Attention Please was upped dramatically in trip when making his seasonal debut at Kelso behind Touch Of Steel. That will have cleared away any cobwebs that were lingering and a return to this sort of trip should see him make a bold bid to finally lose his madden status. His best effort to date came on rain softened ground at Newcastle earlier in the year. Any further deterioration of the ground would certainly be in his favour as he is likely to appreciate a slog in the mud.
Amuse Me makes his debut for James Moffatt this afternoon having spent a few seasons at Jackdaws Castle with Jonjo O’Neill. The change of scenery could well spark some improvement and with Richard Johnson booked a sustained challenge is likely. He has a better record over hurdles than fences so it is of no surprise to see him revert to timber for new connections. King’s Chorister has maintained his form well in recent starts and he has won at this track in the past. Lorcan Murtagh is able to claim seven pounds from his partner and as a result they get weight from all of their rivals. They too command respect and are likely to be right on the premises.
Attention Please is still only a five year old and he ran well for such a long way at Kelso before tiring in the closing stages. His fitness levels are likely to be much better today and with further improvement likely he has to be of obvious interest.

Nine Tenths was not given the easiest of introductions at Beverley last time when meeting the likes of a William Haggas trained hotpot in Afjaan and Pensax Boy who were both vastly more experienced. Joe Fanning was not too hard on him that day and the son of Shamardal will have learned plenty for the outing. Will Buick takes over in the saddle this afternoon and it would be of little surprise to see them take up a prominent position from the outset and if allowed to dominate, they could well prove difficult to pass.
Weetles is a twice raced daughter of High Chapparal who was unfortunate not to shed her maiden when last seen out at Goodwood in June. She will appreciate every pound that she receives from her male counterparts this afternoon and she has to be considered despite her lengthy absence. Of the newcomers, Thai Noon is a stoutly bred sort who makes her debut for James Fanshawe and Freddie Tylicki. The yard have hit a bit of form in recent weeks and it would be foolish to dismiss her chances.
Nine Tenths is open to plenty of further improvement and Mark Johnston will have given him plenty of further schooling at home. With a bit more experience under his belt he looks a definite player in what does not look the strongest of maidens.

Court Of Law made the most of a drop in trip to record a first career success at Warwick last time. He had cheekpieces on for the first time that day and it is of note that Donald McCain has opted to use them once again. This is only his fourth run on the larger obstacles but he is improving with each attempt and with Wayne Hutchinson retaining the ride, he has to be high on any shortlist.
Sendiym is somewhat of a course specialist and has won here no fewer than four times in the past. His latest outing was over this trip and he was only just beaten by The Backup Plan. He has won off a higher mark in the past and there is absolutely no doubt that he rates as the biggest danger to the selection. Carters Rest has his first outing in over three months but he too has gone well here in the past. Despite his advancing years this veteran is capable of giving another solid account, however he may prove vulnerable to up and coming types.
Court Of Law got the better of Badgers Retreat in that race at Warwick last time and the runner up has come out yo frank the form subsequently. The six pound rise in the weights may not be enough to halt his progression and he looks the one to beat here.
