14:40 Lingfield The first selection runs in the 14:40 Lingfield. A six furlong Handicap. Top Offer was held in very high esteem by former trainer Roger Charlton but was somewhat disappointing as a 3 year old and spent last year tumbling down the official ratings. This year he has begun to find his level and clearly loves this venue whether it’s on the turf or on today’s artificial surface. Gaining 2 wins here since being dropped back to 6 furlongs he has a good opportunity to record his fourth career win although on balance of his form it is hard to have confidence. The selection here will be the lightly raced Moiety for trainer Rae Guest. Easy winner last time at Kempton, he confirmed the promise he showed on debut when finishing third at Wolverhampton. The manner of his victory suggested there is more to come bolting up by four and a half lengths after sitting handily behind the leader. He has plenty of scope and a repeat of that performance should make him hard to beat. Arctic Lynx has dropped to a tempting mark and could easily finish in the money here. Moiety (WIN)

16:00 Wolverhampton For the second selection we travel to Wolverhampton and the 16:00. A one mile half furlong maiden. Merton place will be one to keep an eye on in the betting. Related to plenty of winners and from a powerful stable it would be no surprise to see him make a winning debut. The selection however will be the once raced Pin Up for Richard Fahey. Just denied over course and distance on debut, any improvement gained from his first run will make him hard to beat at a track he clearly handles. Going off an un-fancied 28/1 he will be a far cry from those odds here but with the stable firing in winners from all angles the 30% strike rate for his 2 year olds this month is a good indication that Pin Up should be in good heart. Champagne Bob should not be far away if returning to the form of his debut. Pin Up (WIN)

17:00 Wolverhampton We stick with the juveniles at Wolverhampton, and look at the Nursery ran over the extended five furlongs. The last selection is the Stan Moore trained Somedaysrdiamonds. Ultra consistent in her recent efforts –  the exception being when tried over six here two stars back. Returned to this trip in a more competitive race last time she held every chance before falling away, but had been keen early on. A better start is needed here and if she’s allowed to dominate we could see her kick for home and, as she has shown previously, will be hard to pass. With 8 runners declared she should be able to finish in the money. Star Fire showed improvement last time out, but she could find things tougher now trying handicaps. The main danger to the selection is the Sir Mark Prescott trained Coursing. Luke Morris rides and if there is market support she will warrant respect from a very shrewd stable. Somedaysrdiamonds (E/W)
