I know it’s a very obvious selection but here in the last at Dundalk it’s difficult to look past the Joseph O’Brien trained Devil’s Outlaw. Second in his last two starts he’s likely to go one better and claim his first win at the fourth time of asking.
Another runner looking to shake off their maiden tag is Richard O’Brien’s Benavente. He returned from over a six month break to produce a very promising effort to finish in third over course and distance. If he improves upon that performance he wouldn’t be far away. His trainer isn’t in the best of form but looks the most likely to pounce if our selection falters.
