BEYOND THE PALE went in my tracker last time after bumping into a nicely handicapped horse in Danny Kirwan. Also appeared to want further which he gets today. Outpaced down the side but picked up down the home straight however the winner had already flown. That was his first time in a handicap and pulled away from the 3rd placed horse himself. Trainer Fergal O’Brien is having his best season ever and closing in on the 100 winners mark. He won this in 2018 with a 6yo and in this same colours which are his own partnership. Brian Hughes gets the ride clearly to help him try regain the lead in the jockeys championship, he has schooled this horse this week. Fergal has a 58% SR here in the last 5 seasons 7-12 and this increases to a 100% in hurdles. 5-5.

Soyouthinksoagain is the right favourite and the clear danger as he stayed the trip to win off an 11lbs lower mark last time. Everglow has to prove he stays this far but should be respected. Corrany looks vulnerable back over hurdles.
