Just the 8 go on what is probably Market Rasen biggest summer meet with the ITV cameras being there.

The favourite Giovanni Change is a respectable opponent winning twice at the course this year and has a clear liking for this track. The front runner however has got to find more than what he has shown in his last 2 winning runs here in my opinion.

Distant Lady won at Newton Abbott and 6 lb rise for that win in a class 4 will clearly demand a lot more. Last time winner Breaking Waves won after falling in the weights and could be seen as reasonable well treated here. Byron Flyer hasn't won a hurdles race since 2016 and trainer isn't in great form (no wins from 29 runners) so difficult to see him winning

The selection I like is TASTE THE FEAR. You just cannot ignore trainer and jockey form both operating at a 20% strike rate and seem to love the summer jumps program at the moment. I think Taste The Fear was a little lucky towards the end on his handicap debut when short of room towards the end and lost by 3/4 of a length at Worcester.

I think a lot of these runners have to find / raise a lot more than what they have shown. whereas Taste The Fear is on an improving curve I believe. At 5/1 currently just holds out a bit more value than the current favourite
