Alnadam looks set to challenge for favouritism in this tough looking handicap chase. A course and distance winner who seemed a progressive type prior to a poor run at Kempton at Christmas.

Benatar ran a fine race last time at Cheltenham after a lay off, but isn’t sure to enjoy the likely heavy conditions.

Evander is a young progressive chaser, but his jumping is slightly suspect and as such has questions still left to answer.

Champagne Mystery is the intriguing one in the lineup. He can be forgiven his fall last time out as he was thrown into the Caspian Cavier. Now at this level and at the age of seven, he has some decent form to his name and has a fair handicap mark.
